DS Portraits - Night shots

We have had some of our cutomers want to know what the studio grounds look like at night. This is the fall colors from this weeks shoot. Now having pictures out side on a week night is not a problem.

We are ready for trick-or-treating friday

Ok these next few ones are of the cutiest little family on the block.

DS Portraits studio in the fall

As you can see from the last few families that we have had this week that our colors on our studio grounds are still going strong.

1st place at Bands of American in Las Vegas

Our daughter Casey is a member of the American Fork Marching band. This last weekend we were able to go watch them compete in St George, where they took 1st place! The next day, they were off to Vegas to compete against the very best bands from California, Arizona, and Nevada. There was even one from Oklahoma! They strutted their stuff, and took 1st for the preliminaries. The top ten bands got to compete against each other that evening. Oh the other bands tried, I'll give them that, but we still took 1st in the finals. That makes them the best band west of the Mississippi, and #3 in the nation. Now they'll be off to Indianapolis in a few weeks to compete in the national competition. We were so excited to be a part of her great day.

Casey is the trombone section leader this year. She also had a solo in the show. We are so proud of her.

It seems like every little baby that we take pictures of, has to go to the bathroom during our shoot. It isn't very often that we can catch it on film.

It has been so fun putting these sweet little baies in all these different flowers. I don't even know what kind of flower this is, but doesn't she look so cute?

I think she looks like a little princess!

It sure was cold

This was took just last week. It was a little cold. These kids always like to have something new. This was right before the snowy day that we had. We sure love having this waterfall right on our grounds of our studio.
